I'm seeking Syriac experts in my country (there's a minority still using 
it for religious texts), but have not found anyone interested in its
computerization yet.

BTW, I remember that they had a section in Unicode 2.0. I can't find it
anymore in Unicode 3.0. Has is disappeared?
