Hello, : I downloaded the mined editor from : http://www.inf.fu-berlin.de/~wolff/mined-utf.html Thanks for trying mined. : then gunzipped and untarred the file : conigured it runnin the following script : : #! /bin/sh : : PATH=/bin:/usr/bin:$PATH # override "rm -i" script in user's path : : ./configure --enable-wide-chars --enable-logging --enable-hp-fkeys \ : --enable-256-color --disable-tek4014 --disable-vt52 $* This is not the configuration for mined but the recommended configuration script for xterm as a UTF-8 enabled environment to run mined in. To compile mined, go to the "src" sub-directory and invoke make -f makefile.<something>, using the makefile that matches your system best. (Perhaps this sort of problems should be addressed directly to the author of mined (me) rather than this mailing list.)
