Hi Robert,
I compiled xterm with the bidi-patch 0.19 on two different
machines, one an amd-K6, the other with a powerpc-604,
both running Linux 2.2.17, with same fribidi-source,
the same glib-source, and the same xterm-source, configured
the same.
On the amd, xterm runs fine, and the bidi-algorithm gives
the expected results ( Thank you very much for doing all
the work ! ).
On the powerpc, bidi-reordering does not seem to be done;
this does not change with the +b/-b flag.
test_fribidi gives the same result on both machines.
I also compiled pango/gtk+-cvs against the same fribidi;
it works and gives same results on both machines.
My question is now :
1. Did I do something wrong ( e.g.
are there unobvious options to make/configure which I forgot )?
2. If not, how can I track down what's going wrong ?
Karl
