It's the beginner again with a request for hints. [linux system with kbd-1.06 and console preferred]
I experience lots of - as I would see it - mistakes in my console fonts, like capital letter O with stroke being phi, mixing iso -1 and -15 arbitrarily within the different sizes ... I tried to find some alternate fonts, but those links (from this list or some of the known docs) which sound what I might need are not available. So I decided that the best solution would be creating my own font file. From calligraphy I have the knowledge of all those under/overlength and such stuff, also an old 15" monitor for testing a good readable result. Question: What program would you recommend to create my own font? X would be available in Suse-6.4 and/or Mandrake-8.0 Machine P200, 96MB ram, free space about 2x 1GB (me + gimp is sometimes forcing this system onto the knees) And it should not put any restrictions on the created fonts as I want to make them freely available. Thanks very much. -- Erika Pacholleck -- Linux-UTF8: i18n of Linux on all levels Archive: http://mail.nl.linux.org/linux-utf8/
