http://www.yudit.org/security/ I especially recommend the "Other Notes" section at the end. I hope you click on both links. For the sceptical: Yudit will support unicode 'characters' more than ever. You may even get a compatibility mode with Windows/Java. So I don't think the situation is very cloudy: there are many things to fix here but we may even be able to unicode documents produced and viewed by Yudit safe to sign.
