Yudit-2.6.2 Unicode Text editor has been released.
It can be downloaded from:

  http://www.yudit.org/download.html

Here are the things that got better since Yudit-2.6:

o OpenType font shaping support for shapes that are not listed
in Unicode Ararbic presentation forms. This inlcudes quite a
  few Arabic and Syriac shapes.
o Urdu kmap, Urdu-ArabTeX.kmap, Syriac.kmap, Cherokee.kmap and
  MiddleKorean.kmap,
o Support for unifont syriacforms.hex and arabforms.hex files with
  direct font rendering.
o Old Hungarian in Private Use Area has been added to yudit.hex
  Unifont default font.

  Font: http://www.yudit.org/download/fonts/bitmap/rovas.hex
  BDF: http://www.yudit.org/download/fonts/X11/rovas16.bdf
o Fixed crash on Sparc computers (it was an alignment problem)
o Better Middle Korean support.
o Added Vietnamese FAQ.TXT HOWTO-vietnamese.txt and message.po
o Amharic menu translations
o Koran menu and FAQ.TXT translations

I would like to thank all the contibutors for helping me
put this together.

Some documentatation is still missing. An important undocumented
feature is mslvt and nojamo hard-coded encoding flags that can be
specified for mslvt encoded Middle Korean True Type fonts and
True Type fonts where jamos should be skipped:

ogulim.ttf:mslvt
another.ttf:nojamo

After this release I will probably have time to release
patches only till the middle of July. I am planning to
improve bidi support after that.

Cheers
Gaspar
