I can safely say that keys for ���/��� will *never* disappear in
Scandinavia.  To most Scandinavians, these are letters in their own
right, whereas W is a compound letter (a contraction of VV).

Obviously, we're not about to see W disappear from English keyboards
any time soon.  Don't expect to see � disappear from a Swedish
keyboard either.
