Same here, with the same camera (Bus 001 Device 021: ID 046d:08c2 Logitech, Inc.),

I get these errors when I 'ioctl(vd->fd, VIDIOC_S_FMT, &vd->fmt)', about 10% of the time,

Sep  1 09:04:01 merlin uvcvideo: Failed to query (135) UVC control 11 (unit 2) : -32.

Sep  1 09:19:01 merlin uvcvideo: Failed to query (132) UVC control 4 (unit 1) : -32.

I also increased UVC_CTRL_TIMEOUT in uvcvideo.c, so i don't get so much -110 (ETIMEDOUT) errors.

I can send you my client if you like,

greetings,

Bas

Hello,

I'm trying to get my Logitech Orbit (046d:08c2) to work with the latest
linux-uvc without success.

uvccapture manages to get a snapshot but all other programs fail (ekiga,
camorama, camstream, etc.) with that syslog message:

 kernel: uvcvideo: Failed to query (1) UVC control 1

Is it a know problem?

Thanks
