Hello!

I have some problems with Logitech Fusion webcam. I'm using Ekiga for video
conferencing. After I updated my OS to ubuntu Edgy (2.6.17.1 kernel), the
webcam stopped working as reliable as it used to.

- The preview in Ekiga is ok. When I start a video call, the video
disappears.
First I thought that it would be an Ekiga problem but later I figured out
that apparently Ekiga is changing its video mode (colors, frame rate,
resolution) when the actual conference starts and the driver fails.

- Time to time Ekiga even complains that there are no compatible video
modes available with my webcam. This does not happen often though.

- I have an old copy of luvcview. That refuses to connect to my camera
completely. Perhaps I need to update it?

All this used to work very well with my last Ubuntu installation? I have
tried both trunk and split branches of the driver with not much difference
in behaviour.

Any ideas how to debug this further?

With best regards, Juha Leino
