Hi,

first of all let me thank you for your work on the uvcvideo driver. I own
two Logitech Ultra Vision webcam that works perfectly (well nearly, see later
on) on my linux workstations, at least as long as I use it with luvcview (-s
640x480 and the available -f options work too). I would like to use it for
videoconferencing at a resolution of 640x480, essentially because at that
resolution my correspondents can read the whiteboard on which I would have been
writing.
Of course there is ekiga but it dows not work at the 640x480 resolution. I
tried tcpcam and vlvc (a videoconference extension of vlc). But neither support
v4l2.
Has any of you experience with a videoconference application working with
uvcvideo and supporting the 640x480 resolution?

Thanks in advance

Beppe

P.S. The is a small quibble with my logitech webcam. When I plug it and reboot
my machine the audio of the builtin Intel Corporation 82801G audio chipset
disappears and only the webcam internal microphone result present. I know that
this is not related with uvcvideo, nevertheless if somebody has a suggestion it
would be welcome.
