Can you tell me the name of the product you bought? Maybe I can get one of  
those for testing ...

Audio hasn't created any issues that I know of. I've no idea whether the  
type of the USB 1.1 controller part is somehow related to the issue, but  
it's something to keep in mind!

I'm working on a general Wiki for all sorts of webcam information. I think  
your suggestion is a good idea if it turns out that different people with  
same host controller have comparable experiences.
