Urm...yes, you are right...I have misunderstood the linux-uvc project

Indeed....What I would like to do is to make my N800 work as WebCam, I 
mean, plug the N800 usb cable to my desktop and then my desktop think it 
is a Video Class device.

No problem I will write my own code to do it ;-) thanks anyway

btw: where in the code (usb stack) my device reports to be a mass 
storage device.....I would like to make it report as a video class usb 
device and them map the function to the v4l2 driver, this way it could 
be used by any linux device implementing v4l2 driver and usb in 
peripheral mode (non-host)...what do you think about it....I think I 
will start a project in sourceforge
