Hi there,
I've been browsing around the list archives and couldn't see that
anybody has had this little problem before.
Running the most recent UVC driver from SVN (and multiple older
versions) I can get the video working just fine under ekiga, but if I
try to access the microphone three things happen in sequence: 1) The
webcam image goes fuzzy, then green. 2) Ekiga crashes but does not die
3) The microphone input starts to loop until Ekiga is killed manually.
I think 3 is more or less a logical result of 2, but why do 1 and 2
occur and more importantly how do I fix it?
Some details:
Debian unstable/testing, amd64 version
CPU: AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-50
Ekiga version 2.0.3
Cam: Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000
Cam not available through camorama (fails with "Could not connect to
video device (/dev/video0). Please check connection")
