- I have been looking at your list of supported devices and have just tried
three newer webcams of mine. The two first are just really good Logitech
cameras (Fusion and Ultra Vision) while the third one is the Creative Live! Cam
Optia *AF* - not the Optia vith a 1.3 Mpx sensor, but the AF version with the 2
Mpx sensor - and it appears to be operational with the current UVC driver!!
I says this, because I notice, that you have the Optia camera on the list of
supported devices, but not the Optia AF. It is a somewhat important camera,
because the 2 Mpx-lens webcams are nearly non-existent; up until now, I know of
only this single model.
So far, I have testet only with luvcview - and I had to force using the YUV
encoding; the default setting just gave green flickering before failing. But it
looks good - really good.
