Hi all,

I have 7 logitech fusion (2006 model) and 1 logitech IM/connect, the fusion
gives me 30 fps using linux uvc and luvcview, the IM gives me 25 fps using
gspca for v4l2 and luvcview.

These are real fps as you can see in a converted video from the fusion at

http://laplace.ucv.cl/TrackMovingObjects/Gallery/LanzamientoProyectil-ParabolicMotion/movimiento.html

Now I need to implement cheap physics labs for schools to track moving
objects, using windows xp. The problem is that I only can obtain 15 fps in
windows, it seems to me that the last driver from logitech does not support
uvc for my fusions as seen in some charts for the drivers.

Does anybody in the list know a webcam that can record a video at real 30 fps
and vga resolution in windows?
(moving the exposure control to the left did not help)

I tried removing all logitech programs to try to use the uvc generic driver
from microsoft, but it ask me for a logitech driver.

A not expensive webcam that record vga at 30 fps for linux and windows is a
real thing?

Philips SPC900NC is only usb 1.1, how can they say it can capture at 90 fps?
any help?

Any help will be appreciated,

Francisco
