In a nutshell: 1. Install the Linux UVC driver 2. Plug your webcam 3. Start your favorite application and have fun If you have trouble with step 1, you should be able to find plenty of information in the mailing list archive. If you have trouble with step 3, your favorite application might not support V4L2. luvcview, uvccapture and Ekiga are known to work. aMsn, Kopete and OpenWengo/WengoPhone should work if you use the latest version (you might have to check them out from SVN). Other applications might work too.
