Hello
I am trying to put an ACER laptop 5050-4697 to work under linux
The story runs in http://www.df.uba.ar/~solari/acer.html for the time
being.

The ACER has an "OrbitCam" which does not quite work so far.

Here is the info (perhaps you can help me)

Distro: Debian etch 4.0 amd64
kernel: built 2.6.22

lsusb output
Bus 003 Device 002: ID 064e:a100 Suyin Corp.

dmesg output

uvcvideo: Found UVC 1.00 device AcerOrbiCam (064e:a100)
usbcore: registered new interface driver uvcvideo
USB Video Class driver (v0.1.0)

usbutils 0.72-7 (debian etch)
/usr/local/bin/luvcview -L

Video driver: x11
A window manager is available
video /dev/video0
/dev/video0 does not support read i/o
