Hi, is it right that i have to install the KDE header files?

The previous build error you had is generated because when Kopete tried to build, it could not find the KDE header files. Either you don't have them installed (most likely) or you do and they're somewhere other than the makefile expects. In the second case, you'd need to modify the makefile to look in the correct location.
