Hi i recently purchased a CECT phone which has a rather good webcam feature on it , it worked in windows without installing anything and gave excellent results , i found the uvcvideo driver almost works in linux , i plug the phone in and select the webcam function and the uvcvideo module is loaded and gives me the /dev/v4l/video0 device node however i cannot seem to use it , ekiga says the following :
Your driver doesn't seem to support any of the color formats supported by Ekiga.
