I have doubts if the '1.3mp' is real.
The camera has 6 LEDs, which go on and off according to a sensor mounted
at the top of the device. Unscrewing two screws, and twisting together
the CDS sensor wires (the sensor clearly under the hole with long wires)
disables the LEDs electrically safely, and can be reversed later.
The video output quality is OK with adequate light. It drops in
framerate from 25fps to 7fps, as the light level drops.
untested on USB1
Its performance at low light is perhaps a little better than other
cameras of the same sort.
