The VX1000 is supported by the gspca driver, so we won't be able to help you with this device here. See http://mxhaard.free.fr/spca5xx.html I am fairly sure the Creative Live Voice isn't UVC but could you please reply with the device USB descriptors ('lsusb -v' with usbutils 0.72 or newer) to be sure.
