This reminds me of an old friend (look for "Logitech hardware bug" in the 
mailing list archive). It shouldn't (in theory) affect your webcam model.

You posted the same request on quickcamteam.net, I'll ask you to follow up on 
the issue there as the problem is related to a specific Logitech device.
