For the moment I thought using strace would be helpful. I did it for a
kopete session. I went to preferences, go to the camera preview settings
where I can see the camera input till once the image vanishes (the problem)
I stopped the strace. The attached file is an excerpt of the output, last
lines should represent where the camera(or the driver) is sending a totally
black image.
Meanwhile dmesg throwed some different output when using kopete:

Well, for the moment is all I can think may help to find where the issue
