I compared the Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 with the Logitech
Orbit AF and they're very similar, except that:
- Quickcam Pro 9000 has Snapshot Button
- Orbit AF has Mechanical Pan+Tilt and the desktop stand
As far as I understand, the snapshot button isn't supported yet
in uvcvideo, right? So, if it's true, it isn't a advantage right now.
In the other hand, the "face tracking" must be supported in
software, and as far as I know, it doesn't exist yet in Linux, right?
If I'm wrong, please correct me. I intend to use this webcam
with Kopete, Skype etc.
So, what's your suggestion? Both webcams has the same
price. What do you think is the best deal for the money?
