To whom this may concern,

I am writing to report that the linux-uvc driver supports a webcam which
is not mentioned at linux-uvc.berlios.de. The device is the Dynex 1.3 MP
Webcam, model number DX-WEB1C.

[Qbert] /usr/src# uname -a
Linux Qbert.homelinux.org 2.6.24.4 #3 Wed May 21 13:24:18 CDT 2008 i686
GNU/Linux

Output from dmesg upon plugging the device into my usb hub:

[Qbert] /usr/src# dmesg | tail -n 3
uvcvideo: Found UVC 1.00 device Dynex 1.3MP Webcam (19ff:0102)
usbcore: registered new interface driver uvcvideo
USB Video Class driver (v0.1.0)

The source was compiled from the debian package, linux-uvc-source:

[Qbert] /usr/src# dpkg -p linux-uvc-source
Package: linux-uvc-source
Priority: optional
Section: graphics
Installed-Size: 84
Maintainer: Nobuhiro Iwamatsu <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Architecture: all
Source: linux-uvc
Version: 0.1.0.svn193-2
Depends: debhelper, module-assistant
Size: 48642
Description: Linux kernel USB video class module
The linux-uvc kernel module supports some standard devices that
implement the USB video class.
.
It currently includes support for the Logitech Quickcam Fusion,
Logitech Quickcam Orbit, Logitech Quickcam Pro for Notebooks, Logitech
Quickcam Pro 5000 device

Both video capture and audio capture are functioning quite well. I have
not found a problem yet. Thank you for your work.

Cheers,
Chris
