Hi,
I installed the uvc driver on top of my fedora 9 just in case to see
if it would support my webcam, but indeed, it is not in the list of
supported devices and does not work.
My webcam is a
046d:08d8 Logitech, Inc. QuickCam for Notebook Deluxe
(as seen from lsusb)
Kernel : 2.6.25.9-76.fc9.i686
uvc revision : 223
/var/log/messages :
usb 2-1: New USB device found, idVendor=046d, idProduct=08d8
usb 2-1: New USB device strings: Mfr=0, Product=0, SerialNumber=0
I would be quite happy to help test if you have a driver version for
this webcam.
