Camorama supports V4L1 only so it won't work with the UVC driver. Skype is known to be problematic, and Ekiga should work (make sure you use a recent version). Could you please post Ekiga error messages, as well as the content of the kernel log after running Ekiga, and a detailed description of the issue ?
