Hello,

I've just bought a Philips USB Cam Model SPC530NC, and it doesn't work
with UVC . USB Device ID: 0471:2034

Product url:
http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?scy=US&slg=AEN&cat=PC_CAMERAS_CA&sct=WEBCAMS_SU&session=20081021124713_201.92.191.182&grp=PC_PRODUCTS_GR&ctn=SPC530NC/00&mid=Link_UserManuals&hlt=Link_UserManuals

I've tried many quirks, but I only manage to get errors from tvtime:

videoinput: Driver won't tell us its norm: Invalid argument
videoinput: Can't get tuner info: Invalid argument
videoinput: Can't read frame. Error was: Invalid argument (0).

or

videoinput: Driver refuses to start streaming: Device or resource busy.
videoinput: Can't read frame. Error was: Invalid argument (0).
videoinput: Driver refuses to stop streaming: Invalid argument.
videoinput: Can't free frame 0: Device or resource busy
videoinput: Can't free frame 1: Device or resource busy
videoinput: Can't free frame 2: Device or resource busy
videoinput: Can't free frame 3: Device or resource busy

depending on quirks used.

How may I help adding support to this product to UVC (NOTE: I'm not a
driver developer!)

If any information from v4l-info or lsusb may help, please let me know

Thanks,

Mauricio Silveira
