Hello,
I have this webcam, built into Asus S96S laptop and I'm trying to get
it working. Googling I found a suggestion to edit uvc_driver.c and
replace 0505 with f192. So I did and had also to change
.bInterfaceClass and .bInterfaceSubClass to match modalias which is:
usb:v05E3pF192d0103dc00dsc00dp00icFFisc00ip00
Unfortunatelly that didn't do the trick. After loading the uvcvideo
module dmesg showed:
uvcvideo: Found UVC 0.00 device PC Camera4 (05e3:f192)
uvcvideo: No valid video chain found.
usbcore: registered new interface driver uvcvideo
USB Video Class driver (SVN r262)
No /dev/video0. Below is the output of "lsusb -v -d 05e3:f192". Please help.
