I seems recent changes to guvcview code have caused at least one, :-) ,
little bug on.
If it exits with format unavailable, and you know that the format is
supported, currently: 'yuvy' 'uyvy' 'yyuv' 'yu12' 'gbrg' 'jpeg' 'mjpg'
please just force the format with guvcview --format=FOURCC, where FOURCC
is one of the above.
Available device formats are listed in the output. e.g for:
{ pixelformat = 'YUYV', description = 'YUV 4:2:2 (YUYV)' }
just run: guvcview --format=yuyv
I've never encounter this problem myself, but it has been reported a
couple of times, by first time users, you just need to this once since
the new format will be set on the configuration file. (the default is
mjpg, so this will only happen in devices where this format is unavailable)
I will try to fix this for the next release.
