I'll start with a small rant. If you're coming from this thread:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-hardware-18/cant-get-usb-webcam-to-work-706318/,
I think someone could mention to BigVig about the FAQ
http://linux-uvc.berlios.de/faq/ and especially the first question. It's
not very useful to post the lsusb dump if the device is not UVC device
to begin with, so pointing new users here is a bit misinformation, but
then again the lsusb wasn't very correct either.

Then to the actual question. As Anthony mentioned, GSPCA driver doesn't
seem to support it either. However what I find interesting is that in
GSPCA driver there's a patch for the same manufacturer's different
device
http://lists-archives.org/spca50x-devs/01649-patch-for-17a1-0128-xpx-jpeg-webcam-tascorp.html
that is not released yet. That patch might work with slight
modifications, so I would recommend to contact the developer of it.
However be prepared for compiling the driver yourself and debugging...
To me it looks like there might be no drivers supporting that webcam at
all right now.

By the way I would personally be happy to hear if you get it to work in
the end. :)
