Hi,
A lot of embeded webcams only support auto-exposure, this is the case of all
ASUS laptops I know, never tried the really expensive ones, the lamborghini
series,.. :-)
This webcams are only useful for amsn or skype, if you want to record any
decent video you should get an external camera.
Since you can't change this behaviour fps will change a lot with any minor
light variation making it impossible to sync video and audio.
