Sorry for the late replay.

Tested it here with now with a 2.6.22.19 kernel and still the same thing.

I tried with the tip.tar.gz and also cloned the hg repository ( hg clone
http://linuxtv.org/hg/~pinchartl/uvcvideo/ ).
I cant see any mention of your commit in the change log  either.

Any help ?

I just applied a patch at tip that restores compilation with legacy kernels,
tested here with a RHEL5 kernel (a patched version of 2.6.16)
