The USB controler is a PCI card and I can see with usbview that the webcam is connected on the EHCI controler, so it is a USB2 port. I've tried "rmmod ehci_hcd" to be with USB1 (OHCI controler)and tried connecting directly on the motherboard USB1 port (UHCI controler), but I got a "uvcvideo: No valid video chain found" (it's strange, I remembered trying with the Quickcam Pro 9000, and it managed to work in USB 1.1, but I got slower framerate with still flickering). I will have a brand new laptop this we, so I will try on another computer with a direct USB2 port on the motherboard. > > > > Someone on Logitech side has also asked me to increase log trace > > while trying to use mplayer. > > The results are here: > > http://forums.quickcamteam.net/showthread.php?tid=860 > > > > Yes, I've read the post before, but I rather answer it on this > list :-) > As you wish ! ;-) Regards, _______________________________________________ Linux-uvc-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/linux-uvc-devel
