Hi,

/dev/dsp1 is a OSS device you should use ALSA instead as this is the
standard in most distros.

If you really need to use this make sure to have ALSA-OSS wrapper installed.

PS: UVC is video only, audio support is provided by a different driver
(usb audio alsa driver in the case of webcams)
