Bart, In your case I would first remove the installed modules: make rminstall
I would then check for any extra vloopback module still laying around and remove it. Then proceed with a new installation following the how-to, and install vloopback from source: http://www.lavrsen.dk/twiki/bin/view/Motion/VideoFourLinuxLoopbackDevice Best regards, Paulo 2010/3/5 Bart Koppe <b...@a-bort.org>: > Hi Paulo, > > I now tried: > # for file in `find /lib/modules -name "*.ko"`; do if [[ -e $file.gz ]]; > then echo "$file.gz should be removed"; fi; done > This returns nothing. > To be sure I also did: > # find / -name "*.ko.gz" > but it also does not return anything.. > > I anyway tried to unload and then load modules.
