The build system is not specific to the uvcvideo driver, so you would have
better luck asking for help on the linux-media mailing list.
This being said, do you have the kernel source package installed ?
no, this is the mistake I made.
I should have read the INSTALL file more carefully. Now I know that I
needed the kernel source tree installed for using "make menuconfig" .
In fact I did not need this for building the modules.
I just did "make config", "make" and installed the modules I needed.
They work fine with my card, thank you !
