i repast it:

git clone
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git
uvcvideo
cd uvcvideo
git remote add uvcvideo git://linuxtv.org/pinchartl/uvcvideo.git
git remote update
git checkout -b uvcvideo-master uvcvideo/uvcvideo-next

if you need to jump to some version, use
git reset --hard v2.6.29
or what ever version you need.

i think uvcvideo repository migrated to git before i was born :)
