branch related to "rangeley" is done.

I'm holding all patches at the moment while 1.6 is stabilized, once RP
is satisfied with the QA results on master .. I'll send changes again.
But for now, everything has to hold for a few more days.
s/few more days/Thursday/. I can always push my staged branches
tomorrow and they can be used in layers, I just won't send my
SRCREV updates right away.
