This is also the most expediant way to get qemux86 and qemux86-64 booting via
EFI, which is a prerequisite for [YOCTO #5654].

No objections here, since the EFI options shouldn't have any impact
on non-efi boots, and makes the default config more generally useful.

But I'd also like to hear from Darren/Tom, in case they have any
issues with the change.
