Sorry to interfere in this post, but we're also very interested in this 
work.
We already discussed about similar needs for serial driver in "Serial 
performance post", but we did not have much time to go on on this 
subject last month.

Two questions:
- What's about work to go on, about improving serial driver capabilities 
(set/get ops for transceiver specific functions) ?
- As we have a transceiver which is close to AT86RF23x specifications, 
could you tell us which board (hardware) are you using for the 
implementation of  linux-zigbee and at86rf230 driver  ?
