Hi. I'm new to the list, and just started poking around in this yesterday. I might be doing some porting of the package to Meego and OpenWRT.
I had a few questions that I didn't see answered on the project's website: * how much patching of the standard kernel (say 2.6.35 from kernel.org) is necessary, and can any of the modules be built out-of-tree or shimmed (like compat-wireless does)? -- I'm guessing because of the licensing requirements, this would taint the kernel and hence never make its way upstream into it... * is this based on the 2007 Zigbee Pro stack, or a completely unrelated implementation? * is there support for the Jennic chipset? * does this implementation support all profiles and Cluster Layers? * is there an IRC #channel? * I've not yet looked at the drivers... do they all assume serial communication via a UART, or are any of them bus-based with registers being poked? * How actively is this project being developed? What's the membership? Thanks, -Philip ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Beautiful is writing same markup.
