It is called "Zigbee IP". They have been working on the standard for
about two years. I am not aware of any public implementations.

You can buy Ralink 802.11g USB wifi sticks for $5. The drivers are in
the Linux kernel.
The downside is that you need a host capable of running Linux. That
means around 2MB flash and 8MB memory minimum.
