I've solved this problem. I found that the definition of N_IEEE802154
was different in zigbee-tools to the definition in the kernel tty.h
which meant that IOCTL was using an undefined argument even though I had
the latest source for both.
Hope this help someone else

Subject: [Linux-zigbee-devel] ioctl: TIOCSETD: Invalid argument
Hi, I've just pulled the latest deval head for the linux-zigbee kernel
and zigbee-tools and compiled and installed them both.
I've enabled:
CONFIG_IEEE802154
CONFIG_MAC802154
CONFIG_IEEE802154_DRIVERS
IEEE802154_SERIAL
But still cannot use izattach to connect my Econotag via ttyS2. I always
get ioctl: TIOCSETD: Invalid argument
I Have tried compiling the tools with kernel-compat and without but no
difference. What am I doing wrong or what else can I check?
Thanks Steven
