Hi, I already wrote the postmaster of vger.kernel.org a request for a new mailinglist "linux-wpan". It's not sure to get this name, nevertheless I reconfigured the existsing "friendly fork" at github to this new name, see [0].
When I get the mailinglist on vger.kernel.org I will change the infrastructure in MAINTAINERS file to this one. Then I will request a "single point of pull" to david miller and he only accepts pull-request from me then. Your patches need to based on "linux-wpan-next" (net-next) or "linux-wpan" (net). The current stable strategie makes it a little bit complicated to decide if linux-wpan-next or linux-wpan. Global note is: If you found a bug in "linux-wpan" and this doesn't depend on things in"linux-wpan-next", then send patches which based on "linux-wpan". But I didn't request "single point of pull" yet. I don't want to do that until the update of the MAINTAINERS file. I also forked the repository for the lowpan-tools at github. You can also send patches for this marked with "lowpan-tools" tag. This can be done by: git format-patch -s -1 --subject-prefix="PATCH lowpan-tools" I will send my patches also to this list for a global review, of course. I detected a bug some months ago which I like to fix. I will send it later as an example. Future planing is maybe a new implementation libwpan (LGPL) and wpan-tools (GPL) which used the libwpan library. The libwpan should offer a easier access to the kernelspace without knowing of libnl things. But this is an idea, only. - Alex [0] https://github.com/linux-wpan ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Open source business process management suite built on Java and Eclipse Turn processes into business applications with Bonita BPM Community Edition Quickly connect people, data, and systems into organized workflows Winner of BOSSIE, CODIE, OW2 and Gartner awards http://p.sf.net/sfu/Bonitasoft _______________________________________________ Linux-zigbee-devel mailing list Linux-zigbee-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-zigbee-devel
