Hello.
If you got an NCNumericable connection, it means that you have an AOL
interface.And if that's right,... well you're not lucky.
I tried the cable connection about 10 months ago and i didn't like it. I still
have $$$ problems with them. It was expensive (325 F/month), 1.5 GByte
(upload+download) quota, about 384Kbit/s in download and 128Kbit/s in upload,
... worst of all, AOL doesn't work with Linux.
While the ADSL connection is cheaper (300 F/month if you buy the adsl modem
1000 F), faster (theorically), and Linux compatible.
You have to make a Window router (or proxy server) and you have to connect
your linux station to this windows machine.
That's the only solution I've got.

Désolé de ne pas le traduire ce texte (En gros on ne peut se connecter avec
Linux sur le réseau cablé NCNuméricable pour internet car le fournisseur du
service est AOL)... mCar j'ai bcp de boulot :). J'espere que l'anglais ne vous
effraie pas.
