Hi, First of all, thanks for your proposal. :)

But you'll have to convince me. =P Well, we can't promise you anything about the results. :-/ Moreover, your iPod will be taken out its outfits, dissected, and under an heavy load of wrong mp3/AAC files and crash tests... and we can also promise it will _NOT_ be used by a human to listen audio files... even afterward (few of our experiments might be a bit ...destructives...). :) Nevertheless, a second iPod would be extremely useful to us to run a brute force attack on the headers of the firmware, trying to deactivate the crypto-system at boot time (it is the first step to reach in order to load some executable code on the hardware). Maybe one of the guys of the team can send on this ML a picture of our (dismantled) iPod as it is now. :) Regards -- Emmanuel Fleury | Room: 261 Associate Professor, | Phone: +33 (0)5 40 00 69 34 LaBRI, Domaine Universitaire | Fax: +33 (0)5 40 00 66 69 351, Cours de la Libération | Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] 33405 Talence Cedex, France | URL: http://www.labri.fr/~fleury _______________________________________________ Linux4nano-dev mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/linux4nano-dev http://www.linux4nano.org
