Thanks to Franco Zavatti, we know how decrypt aupd of the ipod 5G. We
try it on our nano without success. But, assuming that Apple choose
the same algorithm (RC4 with 32-bit key), we will launch a brute force
attack. But Apple could have changed the key's length and our brute
force will not success.
If we obtain the key, we will still have a problem to execute our own
code : we have to understand what each field of the header represents
(key, checksum, ...).
We are less active on the ML because our school project will finish
the next week so we have to write reports. But don't be afraid, we
will continue the project after.
If we find something quickly, we will put it on the ML and the website.
