Both are ARM processors. It's just PortalPlayer vs. Samsung. 
PortalPlayer and ARM are
two different things.

I completely agree with that point. It's not very likely to decrypt the 
flash parts without having the code
of the embedded processor ROM. If tof successfully dumps it, it's just a 
matter of days :-)

The 1G flash also has these sections. "flshdisk", "flshdiag", 
"flshlogo", but no "logo". And there are
no 512 byte headers like in the dumped 2G flash.
