Nope, tn5250-config is for compiling things which depend on tn5250 and
lib5250 being installed. The configuration files work as follows:
@sysconfdir@/tn5250rc - System-wide configuration.
~/.tn5250rc - User-specific configuration.
What `@sysconfdir@' is depends on how you configured the package when
installing. It
defaults to /usr/local/etc (so that would mean /usr/local/etc/tn5250rc).
~/.tn5250rc, is, of course, the file named `.tn5250rc' (with the leading
period) in your home directory.
Unless you are configuring your box as a terminal server for an
organization and want to set up all the users with specific sessions or
other tn5250 configuration, I'd just use the user-specific config file.
